Academic Courses

Listed below are some of the courses that has helped to shape my perceptions as well as the approaches I utilize as an anthropologist. These courses are in multiple departments but they are equally useful as the tools and knowledge I acquired from them has helped define and boost my academic and social capital.

Anthropology 245: Medical Anthropology

I took this course as a requirement for my major as well as to learn more about anthropological approaches to health issues. I really loved this because it requires a lot of critical thinking as well as self reflection in order to understand the role biomedicine plays in redefining lives.

Philosophy 111: Ethics

I took this philosophy class because I like argumentative discussions and reasonings. Thus it served as a great introduction to moral reasoning as well as understanding issues confined in ethical reasoning. Philosophy 111 introduced me to a new way of thinking and formulating questions and premises.
